Featured Project: Aronimink Elementary School Renovation

The Aronimink Elementary School renovation and expansion project brings modernized facilities, enhanced security, and increased student capacity to this beloved community school. Designed by KCBA Architects, the project includes a 34,000 sq. ft., three-story addition housing new classrooms, a gym/auditorium with a stage, an art suite, and multiple small group instruction areas. The new layout also introduces kindergarten into the school, ensuring a more comprehensive learning environment. Extensive site improvements address stormwater management and improve traffic flow with designated loops for buses and cars.

A key goal of this renovation was to seamlessly integrate the new addition with the school’s historic architecture and surrounding residential neighborhood.
